Soil testing

The soil analysis determines the level of specific soil nutritional components that are required to be assessed for maintaining turfgrass. This includes pH, TEC, the organic matter percent, the major cations and anions, and the essential minor nutrients. The latest technology in nutrient extraction methods that is most suited to analysing turfgrass soils is used.

This report sent back to customers graphically presents the data in an easy to read format. Any deficiencies of the major nutrients are calculated and from this information actual elemental recommendations are provided based on scientific principles. This will remove the guesswork out of using soil amendments applying only what is required and ensuring an optimum growing environment for the turf. Back to top

Amending site soil

Once a soil analysis has been completed, the Oz Tuff team can assist in bringing the site soil up to an acceptable standard, thus reducing quantities of imported topsoil that might otherwise be required.

This method has been successfully used to develop a soil profile of up to 150mm in depth, ensuring the soil profile in adequate to sustain your turf lawn through the most stressful situations including drought, hot summers days and periods of cold weather. Back to top

Turf Installation Service

Oz Tuff Turf offers their customers a competitively priced turf laying service across the Central Queensland region. Their trained and experienced laying teams ensure your turf is professionally installed so it is quick to establish. The service includes application of a quality 18.10.9 Starter fertiliser which will feed the lawn for the first eight weeks. Pre emergent products that prevent week germination for up to twelve weeks are also available upon request.
